Payment Policy
This Payment Policy explains how payment works when you shop with YNF Deals — which payment methods we accept, how your payment information is protected, when your payment method is charged, and what happens if a payment fails or is disputed. The most important thing to know: your card details go directly to our payment processor, Stripe, and we never see or store your full card number. Purchases made on TikTok Shop are paid through TikTok's own checkout, not ours.
1. Accepted payment methods
YNF Deals ("we", "us") accepts the following payment methods for purchases made on ynfdeals.com. All are offered through our payment processor, Stripe.
| Payment method | Notes |
|---|---|
| Credit & debit cards | Major card networks, entered securely at checkout. |
| ACH Direct Debit | Paid directly from a US bank account; settlement takes several business days (see Section 3). |
| Klarna | Pay-over-time options offered and governed by Klarna's own terms and eligibility checks. |
| Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay | Digital wallets; your device shares a one-time token, not your card number. |
| Amazon Pay | Pay with the payment method saved to your Amazon account. |
| PayPal | Pay with your PayPal balance or linked funding source. |
| Link | Stripe's one-click checkout, which securely remembers your payment details with Stripe. |
Availability of a given method can depend on your device, your bank, and the provider's own eligibility rules. We do not accept cash, checks, money orders, wire transfers, or cryptocurrency.
2. How payments are processed
All payments on ynfdeals.com are processed by Stripe, Inc., a payment processor certified to PCI-DSS Level 1 — the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. When you enter card details or connect a wallet at checkout, your payment credentials are transmitted directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection. They never pass through or rest on our servers.
We never see or store full card numbers. What we receive from Stripe is limited to what we need to run the store: a confirmation that payment succeeded, the payment method type, and in some cases the last four digits of the card for your order records. Every page of our site is served over HTTPS/TLS.
Klarna, PayPal, Amazon Pay, and the digital wallets each apply their own terms and privacy practices to the payment step they handle. Stripe's handling of your data is described in Stripe's own privacy policy; ours is described at /privacy.
3. Authorization, capture & settlement
3.1 Cards and digital wallets
When you place an order with a card or wallet, your payment method is authorized and charged at the time of purchase. If we cancel your order — for example, after fraud review under Section 7 — the charge is refunded or the authorization is released; how quickly the funds reappear depends on your bank, typically within 5–10 business days.
3.2 ACH Direct Debit
ACH payments are initiated when you place your order but take several business days to settle through the banking system. We may hold shipment of an ACH-paid order until the payment has settled. An ACH payment that is later returned or reversed is treated as a failed payment under Section 6.
3.3 Klarna and other pay-over-time options
If you pay with Klarna, Klarna pays us and you repay Klarna on the schedule you agreed to with them. Your repayment terms, eligibility, and any fees or interest are set by Klarna's agreement with you, not by us.
4. Currency & pricing
All prices on ynfdeals.com are stated and charged in US dollars (USD). We ship only within the United States. If you pay with a card issued outside the US, your bank may apply currency conversion or foreign transaction fees; those fees are set by your bank and are not charged or controlled by us.
The total you owe — items, shipping, and any applicable sales tax — is displayed at checkout before you confirm your order. That confirmed total is the amount charged.
5. Sales tax
We collect sales tax where the law requires it. Currently that means orders shipped to addresses in New York, where the combined state and local rate of 8.875% applies. Tax is calculated on your shipping address and itemized at checkout before you pay.
If tax collection obligations expand to other states, tax will simply appear at checkout for affected addresses; the amount you see before confirming your order is always the amount charged. We retain order and tax records for seven years to meet legal and accounting requirements, as described in our Privacy Policy at /privacy.
6. Failed & returned payments
An order is only confirmed once payment succeeds. If your payment is declined at checkout, no order is created — you can retry with the same or a different payment method.
If a payment initially appears to succeed but later fails — most commonly an ACH debit returned for insufficient funds or a closed account — the following applies:
- If the order has not yet shipped, we will cancel it and notify you by email.
- If the order has already shipped, we will contact you to arrange payment by another method. Until the balance is settled, we may pause further orders on your account.
- Your bank may charge you its own returned-payment or overdraft fees; those are between you and your bank.
7. Fraud prevention & order verification
To protect our customers and our business, orders are screened for fraud. This screening is partially automated: signals such as payment risk scores and our first-party device-recognition cookie (ynf_fp, described in our Cookie Policy at /cookie-policy) help us spot suspicious activity. If an order is flagged, a human reviews any adverse decision on request — email us at [email protected] if you believe an order was declined or cancelled in error.
We reserve the right to:
- ask you to verify your identity or billing details before we ship a flagged order;
- cancel orders we reasonably suspect are fraudulent or unauthorized, with a full refund of any amount charged;
- limit order quantities, refuse service, or block accounts involved in payment fraud or abuse; and
- report suspected fraud to payment networks and law enforcement.
If we ask you to verify your identity, we will only request what is reasonably necessary to confirm the order is genuine, and we handle that information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Chargebacks & payment disputes
If something is wrong with your order — it arrived damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete, or a charge looks unfamiliar — please contact us first, through the Support area of your account at /my/support or at [email protected]. We resolve legitimate problems quickly under our Return & Refund Policy at /legal/returns, almost always faster than a bank dispute, which can take weeks or months.
When a chargeback is filed, we respond to the card network with our records, which may include order details, delivery tracking, our correspondence with you, and video of your order being packed — every order we pack is recorded for quality assurance and fraud prevention.
Abusive chargebacks — disputes filed for goods that were delivered as ordered, or filed instead of following the returns process in bad faith — are treated as fraud. They may result in closure of your account, refusal of future orders, recovery efforts for the disputed amount plus fees we incur, and reporting to payment networks and law enforcement where appropriate.
9. TikTok Shop & live auction payments
Purchases made through our TikTok Shop stores ("YNF Deals" and "YNF Fragrance"), including wins and claims from our TikTok LIVE auctions, are paid through TikTok Shop's own checkout. TikTok — not Stripe and not this website — processes those payments under TikTok's terms of service, payment methods, and buyer protection processes. Refunds and payment disputes for TikTok Shop purchases are likewise handled through TikTok's systems. Our 72-hour make-it-right standards still apply to every order — see the Return & Refund Policy.
Bids and claims placed during our live auctions are binding and create an obligation to complete the purchase through TikTok Shop checkout within TikTok's payment deadlines. Unpaid claims may be cancelled, and repeat non-payment may result in being blocked from our live auctions. For the full live auction rules, see our Terms of Service at /terms.
